Khalifah of AlaHazrat, Sadr al-Afadil, Badr al-Amathil, Allamah Sayyid Muhammad Na’eem-ud-Deen Muradabadi (Alayhir Rahmah) was born on Monday, 21 Safar 1300 AH (1 January 1883 CE) in Muradabad, India. He was an expert in various Islamic sciences, hadith master, Quranic exegetist, debater, Mufti of Islam, Author of more than 12 books, national leader, spiritual guide, Islamic poet, founder of Jami’ah Na’eemiyah Muradabad, teacher of Scholars, and among the luminaries of Ahl as-Sunnah. matters. AlaHazrat had great confidence in him and would consult him about important matters. He wrote Khaza’in-ul-Irfan, an exegesis in the form of explanatory notes on Kanz-ul-Iman. It is a summary of the previous authentic quranic exegeses and is also famous worldwide. His naat poetry collection ‘‘Riyaz-e-Naeem’’ has also been published. He passed away on Friday, 18 Dhu al-Hijjah 1367 AH (23 October 1948 CE) at 12:25 am while reciting Kalimah Tayyibah. His blessed resting place in the corner of the mosque in Jami’ah Na’eemiyah Muradbad is the center of spiritual blessings and upliftment.
