Cyber Jaagrookta Diwas was celebrated at UEM Jaipur campus

The Ministry of Home Affairs has launched the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) to strengthen the capabilities of Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and to improve coordination among the LEAs and other agencies. The MHA has also launched the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP) to facilitate online reporting of cyber-crime incidents. In this regard, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are requested to celebrate “Cyber Jaagrookta Diwas” (CJD) and also to celebrate in an elaborative manner for propagating cyber hygiene as mass awareness campaign, by involving dignitaries in various factions across all the States/UTs.
In the above-mentioned context, UEM Jaipur organised the inauguration program on 22nd November, 2022.

The chief guest was Dr. CB Sharma, Retired IPS Officer who has vast experience of 36 years in the field of law and order and cyber security. He was former Cyber cell head of Rajasthan state and Superintendent of Police of Jaipur.
He shared his experience and findings with the students and also motivated them to stay protected in the present days scenario where cyber crime is a very common problem.
He also discussed the plan of action that how and where to report when someone is being attacked by the criminals.

Prof. Dr. Aniruddh Mukherjee, Dean of academics welcomed the guest, and Vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Dr. Mukesh Yadav. Dr. B. S. Yadav, Director of Physical education, Dr. Yogesh Jhakar and Prof. Dipta Mukherjee were also present and Coordinated the event.

A total of 335 students attended the event and they raised numerous questions to the eminent speaker and got their doubts cleared.
