Responsive & Reactive Mindset

Let me first define these two terms;
Reactive: The Immediate Retaliation
Responsive: The Wisdomful & Concrete Retaliation

A reactive person is the one who immediately reacts to any negative thing,
like if someone slaps him, he immediately slaps back without any pause or thinking, a reactive person easily gets angry and emotional, and most importantly they don’t have a control on their tongue. They usually take their decisions based on their emotions. There is no thinking involved in a reactive mindset.

A Responsive person is the one who has a control over his tongue, who doesn’t allow his emotions to trigger or overtake him, and he observes things instead of reacting.
Example; If someone slaps him, he would just think, be patient and make the slapper understand that you’re wrong.

According to me, an individual should have a responsive mindset instead of reactive mindset because when we are reactive, we loose our cool, we don’t have a hold on our tongue and we start targeting the opposite person’s personal life, and we even abuse each other and some times we get very aggressive and start getting physical. And later on, we have to also face the bad consequences of our acts. But if we are responsive, we will learn to be patient, it will broaden and deepen our understanding and thinking, we will get respect from the society, we will indeed touch the heights, and be the leaders of the modern world.

Here I present a poem to you all;
How much wisdom has been left behind,
I have left everyone’s memories behind
I have left footprints behind,
The sky has been ripped apart and left behind
You didn’t ask why,
All the supporters have left their lives behind
There were only disgraces in the world,
That is why they have left the mortal world behind
Don’t get stuck in such philosophies,
How much, where, has love left behind
We will say with a royal sigh!
How cities have left idols behind.
