New Delhi: The Supreme Court has ordered the release of Mufti Salman Azhari from detention under the PASA Act. He had already been granted bail in three cases by the Gujarat Police, but had been in Vadodara Jail for the past 10 months under the PASA Act.
Advocate Aftab Ansari stated that a petition was filed against the Gujarat government’s PASA Act, which has been quashed by the Supreme Court. Following this, Mufti Salman Azhari will be released from Vadodara Jail today.”
