On the occasion of Independence Day, a flag hoisting program was organized by the Indian Journalist Association at the Indian Journalist Association office in Dumariyaganj. The officials and members of the association hoisted the flag and sang the national anthem and filled the atmosphere with patriotic slogans.
In the program, Rajesh Yadav, Tehsil President of Indian Journalist Association, wished the countrymen and journalists a Happy Independence Day. Vijay Yadav, Mandal Media Incharge, paid tribute to the freedom fighters and said that all the brave sons like Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Bhagat Singh, Lala Lajpat Rai, Mahatma Gandhi, Veer Abdul Hameed Bismil etc. sacrificed everything for the country’s sake. Salute to those brave sons. The country should always remember those brave sons due to whom our country got freedom from the British rule 78 years ago. Remembering the sacrifice of the freedom fighters, he said that we got independence after great sacrifices, so the journalism world should also fulfill its responsibility in protecting democracy. On this occasion, the officials of the association took a pledge to remain committed to the unity of the organization and the protection of the rights of journalists. Sweets were distributed at the end of the program.
